General and Personal MedicalServices contract 2014-2015:
In line with the requirements of the amended regulations 2014, paragraph 70b, sub-paragraph 2(b) and paragraph 70d the practice currently offers patients the following online facilities:
- Appointment booking
- Authorised repeat prescription requests
- Participation in surveys
- Quarterly newsletter
- Adverse reactions and allergies
- Opportunity to view on-line records
ALSO AVAILABLE:
Our clinical software now enables us to transfer electronic medical records (known as GP2GP) but only if the previous practice also has the same software ability; this was a requirement by 31.3.16 and we hope that more practices participate in the coming year to ensure the quick transfer of clinical information. The percentage of notes for new patients coming via GP2GP or patient returning having previously been registered is currently 45%.
For patients wishing to view medical records on-line, how to do this can be found on our "Quick Links to On-line Services" from 1.4.16; a hand-written application is required in order to activate access with proof of identity. Alternatively, self-identification via the NHS APP also provides this service.
