NATIONAL DATA OPT-OUT

Patients can opt out of their confidential information being shared beyond their personal medical care, for example national audits, or research etc.    However, we do recommend that individuals make such decisions only after reading about the use of such information and we in the practice are happy to have a discussion with anyone who does not find this an easy decision to make.   New patients are offered the option upon registration and existing patients are provided with posters in-house and handouts so that consideration can be given at any opportunity.   Links that can provide appropriate and informed advice can be found at the following - please copy and paste into your browser:

The national data opt-out regulations require patients to register their own preference and the above link will enable you to do this.

Alternatively, you may prefer to do so by telephone:   0300-303-5678
