To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday)

- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday when we are open
- use our appointment request form
- use your Patient Access account (on the Patient Access website or in the Patient Access app)
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Routine appointments

- on a video call
- by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

If you need help when we are closed
Outside our normal surgery hours please call the usual number 01208-872589 and you will be given details of what to do:
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please hang up and ring 999
For urgent medical help before the surgery re-opens please call the NHS helpline on 111
NHS 111 is free to call from landlines and most mobiles but pay-as-you-go mobiles need to have at least 1 pence in credit to call.
If you need help with your appointment
- If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond.
- If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email.
- If you need an interpreter.
- If you have any other access or communication needs.
Home visits
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10am on 01208 872589.
